on nov. 6, lu attended the china europe ceo summit, an important supporting activity of the sixth ciie, and delivered a speech.

the parallel session brought together officials from the state-owned assets supervision and administration commission of the state council and the ministry of commerce, executives of international organizations, representatives of centrally administered state-owned enterprises, as well as renowned scholars.
participants in the session engaged in riveting discussions on how to better build system, create environment, and enhance cooperation for open innovations.
lu, ma, genertec vice president zhou mingchun, and genertec's external directors visited the exhibition areas of the sixth ciie, where they held talks and had exchanges of ideas with their foreign counterparts at the exhibition booths of world-renowned companies like honeywell, philips, ge healthcare, canon medical, and fresenius medical care.
genertec also held a global procurement contract signing activity at the national exhibition and convention center (shanghai), the main venue for the sixth ciie. zhou attended the signing activity and delivered a speech.
genertec's subsidiaries, including genertec ptac, genertec meheco, genertec international, and genertec xinxing, signed contracts for procurement projects and letters of intent on cooperation at the signing activity. the contracts and letters of intent cover such areas as bulk commodities, petrochemical equipment, electricity and energy, health care, and consumer electronics.
the total worth of the procurement projects signed at the activity is 40 percent more than that inked at the fifth ciie.
as a six-time exhibitor of the ciie, genertec has demonstrated expanding circle of friends through the ciie with concrete actions. at the global procurement contract signing activity, genertec has not only renewed close cooperation with its "old friends" like philips, siemens, ge healthcare, nippon zoki pharmaceutical from japan, arauco from chile, and dr. reddy's laboratories from india, but forged partnerships with eight "new friends", including varian medical systems, ccm from italy, honeywell, kodar from serbia, lamh, and daewoong pharmaceutical.
a total of 14 procurement projects were signed at the activity, encompassing a multitude of heavyweight products, including china’s first photon-counting computed tomography (ct) equipment; orphan drugs used for the prevention, treatment and diagnosis of rare diseases; products and technologies for atrial fibrillation early screening for the prevention of stroke; and equipment for genertec's first major chemical project in africa.
the introduction of these products and technologies is expected to help genertec better contribute to high-quality economic and social development as well as people's pursuit of a better life.
