scheduled to be held on feb. 4, 2022, the 2022 winter olympics in beijing is just 100 days away.
genertec cxxg is the contractor of the yanqing comprehensive transportation service and transfer center in beijing, a main supporting facility of transportation service for the 2022 winter olympics. after it is put into operation, the center, which covers 126,000 square meters, is expected to become a transportation hub for shuttle buses, buses, high-speed trains, line s2 of beijing suburban railway (bsr), and other vehicles, being able to effectively improve urban infrastructure.
since the project kicked off in october 2019, genertec cxxg’s builders taking part in the project devoted themselves to the construction. after the covid-19 epidemic hit, they worked together to overcome various difficulties and acted swiftly to resume production and work.
the project was recognized as a model green and safe project in beijing in 2020 and a green project that helped in beijing’s drive of dust and sand control in 2021. some practices in construction of the project caught media attention and were reported by a number of mainstream media outlets including gmw.cn, toutiao.com, and beijing radio & television station.
the project, which was completed, has entered the phase of maintenance and delivery. genertec cxxg will continue to make full efforts to ensure safe and smooth operations of the equipment and make contributions to delivering a “fantastic, extraordinary and excellent” olympics in 2022 and building china into a leading sporting power.
